
CPES believes every child can reach their full potential through intentional, scaffolded support. A Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT) assesses new and returning students to identify strengths, learning gaps, and areas for growth. Early reading support is prioritized in Grades 1–3 through one-to-one or small group instruction. Students across all grades receive additional support as needed, including individualized education plans (IEPs) with accommodations or modifications. The SERT works closely with teachers and parents to ensure each student’s needs are effectively supported.
