College Park Elementary School (CPES) believes in nurturing well-balanced students, this includes providing our students with athletics and extracurricular options. You will find some of our athletics program options outlined below:

  • Participation in the Edvance Sports Christian League:  CPES traditionally participates in the following events with this league:  Cross Country (Gr. 3-8), Soccer Tournament (Gr. 6-8), Basketball Tournament (Gr. 6-8), Volleyball Tournament (Gr. 6-8)

College Park Elementary School also provides the following extra-curricular program options. We appreciate our staff and dedicated volunteers and ministry partners that make these possible!

  • Taking to the Ice Hockey Program:  This ten week program generally meets Friday afternoons starting at 1 pm and runs during the fall and early winter months. This program is available to all students in Grade 1-8. At least one parent and/or assigned guardian is expected to be present for the duration of each hockey session. Parent volunteers are most welcome on and off the ice.
  • Ski Club Program: This six week program generally runs during the winter months.  Students are transported to and from the ski hill by their parents. Parents are also welcome to attend and ski/snowboard with their children.
  • Salt Sisters Chapter: In conjunction with the Ontario Women's Ministry Department and the lovely Mrs. Patricia Ferreira-Lopez, CPES hosts a monthly chapter of the Salt Sisters the first Wednesday of each month. This chapter is open to all young ladies in Grades 6-8.  For more information on this important initiative, see the following link:  https://adventistontario.org/ministries/women/salt-sisters/.
